At Hisar Travel, we aim to offer flexibility in booking and participation for Umrah journeys, while maintaining clear terms regarding refunds and cancellations. Please carefully review our primary policies, as well as our guidelines for extraordinary circumstances below:
The deposit for any Umrah registration is strictly non-refundable. This deposit secures a participant’s spot and covers initial administrative costs. For any voluntary cancellations initiated by the participant, this deposit will be forfeited.
Exception: The deposit will ONLY be fully refunded if the airline or the Saudi government issues an official "unsafe" declaration and completely cancels the operational flight. In such cases, once we receive the refund from the airline, your funds will be remitted to you within 7 to 21 business days.
Installment payments, excluding the non-refundable deposit, are eligible for refund under the following conditions:
If a participant does not notify us of their inability to attend the Umrah at least 60 days before the scheduled departure, all payments made will be forfeited. This is due to the non-recoverable expenses incurred for flight tickets and hotel accommodations, which will have already been arranged by that time.
In the event a participant cannot attend the scheduled Umrah, including requests made for future tours due to personal reasons or global uncertainties, they have the option to:
These requests will only be accepted if made more than 90 days before the scheduled flight date. However, please note that even with 90 days' notice, the initial deposit remains non-refundable and will be forfeited as per our standard terms.
From time to time, unforeseen global events or airline operational changes may impact travel. Please note our policy regarding these events:
For all approved refunds, whether from installment payments or airline-authorized returns due to extraordinary circumstances, the processing time is strictly 7 to 21 business days. This timeline begins either from the date of our internal approval or from the date we successfully receive the cleared funds back from our international suppliers (such as airlines and hotels).
Participants are allowed to transfer their Umrah slot to another individual, provided that:
We will assist in updating the registration details once a replacement has been identified.
It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements for an Umrah visa. We do not accept any responsibility for visa rejections due to ineligibility or statelessness. In such cases, no refund will be issued for the deposit, and participants are not entitled to a refund of any payments already made.
If a participant who is not eligible for an Umrah visa or is a stateless individual registers for the Umrah, they will forfeit the deposit upon realization that they cannot obtain a visa. We do not accept any responsibility for failure to acquire an Umrah visa due to personal ineligibility, and participants cannot request refunds for such cases.
By registering for the Umrah, participants agree to these terms and conditions. Any disputes or special cases will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but the policy outlined here will be the primary guideline for decisions.
